J’ai découvert L’apothicaire, The apothecary en anglais, en cherchant des trailers de bouquins pour créer celui du tome 3 d’Arcadia, Un défi pour Vanessa. La bande annonce du livre était tellement mystérieuse et intrigante… Que je n’ai pas pu m’empêcher d’acheter ce roman jeunesse de Maile Meloy, et de me plonger dedans.
Sur un fond d’après deuxième guerre mondiale à Londres, L’apothicaire est une histoire très prenante mêlant fantastique et espionnage. Je n’ai lu que le premier. Mais il y a trois tomes, même si le premier est le seul à avoir été traduit en français.
I found out about The apothecary, while researching for my book Un defi pour Vanessa’s trailer. I saw the apothecary trailer and found it so intriguing, I had to buy it and read it right away. The post second world war London’s background is pretty unusual for a midgraders’ novel, but I loved the combination of magic and cold war atmosphere.
